Donatella Versace introduces Versace’s new watch collection, celebrating the formation of Vertime, the fashion house’s 17-year licensing partnership with Timex.
The highlight of Versace’s watch collection is DV One, a Swiss-made ceramic watch that aims to establish Versace in the luxury fashion watch bracket. The model was created in collaboration with Italian industrial designer Giorgio Galli, who worked on the technical aspects of the watch.
“I wanted to celebrate the new agreement with Timex by creating a watch that combines the best of the know-how and expertise of each of our companies. This watch marries high fashion and Italian luxury design with the best in precision time-keeping,” explained Versace.
Never has fashion, style and design met Swiss-made precision and technology in a more striking and innovative way: the latest Versace watch in ceramic embodies all that the luxury goods house stands for, at its best.
This remarkable precious item is destined to leave a permanent mark with its innovative case and bracelet in shiny ceramic.
Versace has developed this watch in an anti-scratch, hypo-allergenic, shiny ceramic - second only to diamonds in hardness and resistance.
The DV One is available in jet-black or ice-white The bezel is also made of ceramic – a first in the watch industry - and embellished with Versace’s Greek fret in relief.
For the ultimate luxury treat, the DV One watch is also available with details picked out in rose gold and the studded with 148 diamonds.The bottom of the case is personalized with the edition number and Versace’s logo in relief.
The crown is gold-plated with the maison’s medusa head in relief. The dial is black or white with gold plated details and Roman numbers. The inner part of the dial has a guillochè motif and an inset indicating the date at 3 o’clock. The sapphire glass is anti-reflexThe bracelet of this unisex, automatic and waterproof watch is closed by a two-button buckle adorned with the Versace logo.
